We opened the 2nd Leg of the Black History Trilogy with the defiant resiliency of the Black Power movement . Born out of the failures of the struggle for Civil Rights , the Black Power Movement was a rebranding of Black culture centered on Afrocentric Black Nationalism. It was a widespread embrace of unapologetic Blackness and the foundation that begat the Hip Hop Generation.
