While the premise of the original was love songs over grimy Boom-Bap, Tough Love Too finds Mankind rapping about the ups and downs of love over radio ready jams with a variety of poets riding shotgun

“Stoned” (feat Akil Loving & Andrea L. Rhymer) is an ode to cold-blooded Marijuana loving Hot-Girls. “No Babies but yeah” (feat. Akil Loving & Beka) is ironically a panty dropping baby maker. “Promise” (feat. SYFA) tells the story of the emotional scars of infidelity. “Flattered But…” (feat. Gia Shakur) finds Mankind waxing poetic about self love, survival and personal growth.
